FinOps Specialist (Approver)

Job Summary:

  • As a Finance Operations Specialist (Approver), you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution and oversight of various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple processes. Your responsibilities will span several key areas, including settlement handling, transaction authorization, and funds management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage bank approvals and processing of recurring payments
  • Generate daily, weekly, and XS settlements
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of transactions
  • Handle merchant prefunding, top-ups, and withdrawal requests
  • Process and record adjusting entries
  • Monitoring real-time-disbursement transactions
  • Oversee and manage the company’s financial float
  • Address and resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance regulations

Job Specifications:

  • Has Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in finance operations, particularly in payout processing and reconciliation
  • Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with merchants and team members
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willing to undergo ten days of training (company will provide an allowance)
  • Willing to work onsite at the Marikina office six days a week
